Our Junior programme coaching commences at 9am on Saturday 5th January-any prospective new players to contact Joy on 01673 838382. We have a new coach Tracy Cardy 01472 327768 who is able to offer Junior and Adult individual sessions at the Club. Adult beginners /Improvers group session run from 10am-11:30am on Tuesdays will recommence on Tuesday 8th January 2008 This year we ran one of only two LTA Tennis
Leaders 10 x 1hour training courses for juniors aged 14-18 years in the
County.6 of our members, Jonathan Purkiss, Emma Tyson, Jenni
Vincent, Rob Cook, Leo Madden and Charlie Turner completed the course. Three have since received additional LTA
certificates for completing 25/50 hours of voluntary help at the Club - Jonathan
25 & 50, Emma 25 and Charlie 25. This is quite an achievement for a small
Club.
We are also offering a lot of competitive opportunities for youngsters including fielding mini tennis orange and green teams in the County winter leagues and next year following the success of our men's side we will be putting out a Ladies team in the Lincolnshire league based round a number of our teenage girls. |
